Have a safe Memorial Day weekend, enjoy spending time with family/friends and thank a member of the U.S. Services for all they have done.

As Roy and I were sitting in the parking lot, waiting on the crew that was doing the digging for our job, the city inspector drove through the parking lot. He didn't stop to talk to us, he didn't even get out of his truck. Within a few minutes I get two emails from the city that stated our underground yard line and electrical service inspections had been approved. Glad the city inspectors have learned that Smith Electrical Service is going to do the job right so they approve the work before we even start. ... See MoreSee Less

Damn, it was hot today. We should have flipped the schedule to do the inside work this afternoon and the outside work in the morning. However we had to shut power down at PTHD to repair lights so the work had to be done in the morning. But we do what we have to to make the customer happy.

Tomorrow's schedule just got blindsided by the dirt crew. They got held up on another job. So after spending a good amount of time scheduling inspections and meeting with the power company to complete an install tomorrow, we get to do it all again with a Thursday target. All part of a day in the world of being a small business owner in these great United States of America.

Tomorrow we go right back at it by starting another pool job for the same contractor. Glad I'm bringing on a very talented electrician to help with the work load. Roy will join us as soon as I can get him all of the needed paperwork Can't wait to get him started!!! ... See MoreSee Less
